The Rotary Club of Goondiwindi, Qld, Australia (D9640) is again organising the Spring Festival in October 2008, with a special emphasis on Railways, as 2008 is the Centenary year of the Railways coming to Goondiwindi. Local Rotarians will make you welcome and there will be lots of activities to enjoy - steam train trips, railways museum displays, automobile restorer's rally, the Major Brain Drain trivia night, the Great Goondiwindi Duck Races on the banks of the McIntyre River, being only a few.
